Since I was a child I have been fascinated with improving my health, fitness and athleticism. I was a tall, skinny, awkward kid growing up who always lacked confidence, especially in the gym.
After begging my parents to get some home equipment, I got my first set of plastic-covered cement weights from Target when I was 12. I was so shy and uncomfortable that I didn’t feel like I was strong enough or good enough in some way, to even take a high school weight training class until my senior year!
Somehow my passion persisted and the calling became louder. I knew that if I put the effort into building physical strength and learning about the body, it was going to be worth overcoming my fears and leading to something more.
Unfortunately, some misguided enthusiasm resulted in chronic back and shoulder injuries that sidelined my athletic career and limited my quality of life well into my 30s.
So, I dove into my quest to learn as much as possible about the body with the help of several mentors, tireless self study, constant personal practice, certifications, and a degree in Exercise Science along the way.
My injuries and setbacks would be the cornerstone of my passion and unique perspective on how to teach others to live an empowered, pain-free, active life using the strength and movement principles that I have created and honed in my 20+ year career.
I have competed as a Scottish Highland Games athlete since 2004 and hold several world records. Last year, I successfully lifted the 734lb. Dinnie Stones and many of the legendary stones of strength in Scotland.

You’ll get immediate, lifetime access to the SuperPowered Program upon purchase! You may begin working through the lessons and exercises at your own pace, when you’re ready. Lifetime access means that you’ll always be able to log in and watch any of the lessons at any time.
The program consists of 3 workouts a week for 6 weeks. All workouts will take less than an hour and depending on your own speed, can be done in 45 minutes.
Throughout our program we focus on movement quality and consistent execution of each rep. Your RPE range should be 5-7 ideally with an occasional 8 being OK. Remember anything above an 8 is too strenuous to be POWERFUL and will only lead to frustration and increased risk of injury.
As you work through each week and practice the movements, they will begin to feel easier! If you hit a wall, feel uncomfortable, pain or aren’t confident with the movement, please reach out to Coach John and we’ll help modify to better fit your needs.
We highly recommend that everyone complete the original CrashProof program before starting this program or alternatively have completed another OSI Online program prior to ensure that you have developed a strong reflexive foundation and are ready for this program.
Only those that are injury free with a minimum of 3-6 months of consistent kettlebell based strength training should consider doing this program.
